1. Make sure the sink drain and all other drains are
closed before removing the prosthesis.

2. Place a large towel on the counter top or sink for
protection of the prosthesis

3. Keep the prosthesis away from pets and children.

4. Never use strong abrasives, chemicals, or brushes on
the prosthesis.

5. To clean the eye prosthesis, it is recommended that
the eye be removed approximately once a month. Clean
the eye prosthesis with a mild anti-bacterial soap and
water, rinse thoroughly, and re-insert it into the eye
socket. To re-insert the eye, a drop or two of a
recommended lubricant gently rubbed over the front and
back surface of the prosthesis, will help it slip back in
place more easily.

6. In special cases, follow the recommendations of your
physician and the eye fitter.
